Creating Content - Part 1

It can be daunting - especially with trying to find content that engages your followers. However, this is actually a pretty simple solution to finding what content to post on your blog or social media.

Let's take a step back and look at what your primary goal is for posting. Are you wanting leads, grow your followers, have higher sales, etc? If you say all of the above, of course... however having one goal to focus on at a time, will help you be able to focus on content creation. Once you have your goal in mind then move on to the next step.

The next step is to dial in on your niche. OK so you don't have a niche or a micro-niche? Well there is something else you need to drill down on. I'm not saying this is a forever commitment, however you do need to dial it in - it helps make your content and hashtag research a lot easier for you.

So let's say you have a chiropractic office and your chiropractor wants to start working more with pregnant women. Well, that's a niche.. you can dial it in even more with a micro-niche. For instance a pregnant woman that lives in east Grand Rapids within the ages of 25-39. You can dial it in even more, but this gives you the idea.

How much easier is it to find content relatable to pregnant women - let alone ones that are 25-39 and live in one area?

So with your goal and your niche or micro-niche narrowed down, you now have a good start.

Get these two down then read on to my next post!

Yours In Success,

Mindy Cook
